1. About GSTFile
GSTFile is a GST return preparation tool. It helps users prepare GST return reports, invoice summaries, B2B details, B2C summaries, ecommerce summaries, HSN summaries, tax summaries and validation reports.
GSTFile does not file GST returns directly on behalf of users. Users download their reports and file returns themselves on the official GST portal.

3. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used only for the following purposes:
- Creating and managing your GSTFile account
- Saving your invoice and summary entries
- Preparing GST return working reports
- Generating XLSX export files
- Preparing validation reports
- Managing subscription and payment status
- Providing customer support
- Improving the software and fixing issues
4. GST Portal Password
GSTFile does not ask for your GST portal password. GSTFile does not login to the GST portal on your behalf in the current version.
You file your GST return yourself on: https://www.gst.gov.in/
5. Payment Data
Payment may be processed through PayU or another payment gateway. GSTFile may store payment status, transaction ID, amount, plan details and payment confirmation response.
GSTFile does not store card numbers, CVV or net banking passwords.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal or business data.
Data may be shared only where required for:
- Hosting and running the website
- Payment processing
- Customer support
- Legal compliance
- Security, fraud prevention or misuse investigation
7. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect user data. However, no online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users should keep their login password safe and should not share account access with others.
8. Data Retention
We keep your account, invoice, summary and payment data as long as required for providing services, support, compliance, record keeping or dispute handling.
You may request deletion of your data as described below.

You can request deletion of your account and uploaded GST data at any time. Please send your request from your registered email address.

10. Cookies and Sessions
